Print Prices, Calculated From the Supplier's Own Data.

An online print-price calculator built for promotional products and textiles.

  • The supplier's own print positions, technologies and price rules
  • Product cost, setup, printing and handling shown together
  • The finished configuration goes to the basket or into an enquiry
A print configuration — 250 pieces, a white product variant, a front print position, laser engraving in one colour at 50 × 50 mm, all taken from the supplier's product data — passed to TronCalculator and returned as one result: €12.40 product cost, €6.00 setup, €4.80 printing and €1.60 handling, a final calculated price of €24.80, and a button adding it to the basket

Is this for me?

Made for Everyone Who Has to Answer "What Would That Cost Printed?"

If pricing a print means opening a supplier price list before you can start, this is what TronCalculator was built for.

  • Distributors and Sales Teams

You answer print-price questions several times a day, and every supplier structures its prices differently.

    • Quantity breaks, setup and handling on every enquiry
    • Print terminology that differs from one price list to the next
    • Quotations waiting on whoever knows the lists best
  • Merchandise Operators

You need one way of pricing decoration across suppliers and customer channels.

    • The same calculation logic behind the shop and the sales desk
    • Supplier rules configured rather than remembered
    • Pricing connected to enquiry and order workflows
  • Corporate Buyers and End-Customers

You are choosing the product and want the real price before asking anyone for it.

    • Quantities and colour variants tried online
    • Supported print positions and methods compared
    • Visible price components before sending an enquiry

Why TronCalculator?

What the Calculation Actually Covers

TronCalculator calculates from the supplier's own data: print positions, technologies, dimensions, colour rules, quantity breaks and price components. The result follows the supplier's rules rather than an approximation of them.

  • Configured on the Product, Priced in Its Parts

The customer configures the product they are already looking at: colour variants and a quantity, the print position and the printing technology that supplier really has for it. The result is not a single figure, and it changes as soon as a supported parameter does.

    • Positions and technologies come from supplier data, not from a fixed list
    • More than one colour variant, each with its own quantity, in the same result
    • Product cost, printing setup, printing and handling on their own lines
    • Into the basket, or into an enquiry cart as a non-binding request

The challenges we solve

Every Supplier Prices Printing a Different Way

Answering "what would 250 of these cost with our logo on them" means finding the right price list and adding up two prices kept in two places.

  • One Price Depends on Six Other Things

Quantity, position, technology, size, colours and setup charges all move the price together.

All of them calculated together, in real time

  • The Price List Has to Be Found First

Someone has to find the supplier's document and read off the right quantity level.

Prices read from the supplier's own print data

  • The Customer Cannot Try Anything

A buyer who wants 500 instead of 250, or two colours instead of one, has to ask and wait.

Customers change the options and see the price

  • The Product and the Print Are Priced Apart

The item is priced in the catalogue and the decoration in a separate list.

Product, setup and printing in one price

How it works

From the Product Page to a Priced Configuration

The whole sequence happens in your shop. Nobody has to open a supplier's price list to answer the question.

  1. Customer

    Open the Calculation

From the product detail, the customer chooses to buy with printing, or to request a quote with printing.

  2. Customer

    Choose Product and Quantity

Colour variants are chosen and a quantity entered for each. That settles the product part of the price first.

  3. Customer

    Set Up the Print

The design is named, a logo uploaded or picked from the gallery and edited where needed, and the print position and technology chosen from what that supplier offers.

  4. Customer

    Read the Result

Product cost, setup, printing and handling appear on separate lines, with a unit price and a total. Change a parameter and the result is calculated again.

  5. Together

    Send It On

The configuration goes into the basket for the ordering process, or into an enquiry cart as a non-binding request that arrives already specified.

Where it runs

Two Places, the Same Supplier Rules

TronCalculator runs in two places. The supplier data and the calculation are the same in both, so the price is the same wherever it was worked out.

  • In every package

    TronShop

    TronShop

The customer configures the product and the print on the product detail and reads the price there, before adding it to the basket or an enquiry.

    What you gain

A shop can price printing from the day it opens, with no calculator to build and no supplier's pricing logic to reimplement.

    See TronShop
  • From Standard upwards

    TronManager

    TronManager

The print price calculator works inside the offer itself, so a salesperson prices the decoration on the products they have just selected.

    What you gain

The print cost is calculated where the margin, discount and VAT rules already are, so the customer gets one finished figure.

For suppliers

For Suppliers: This Is Integration Level 2

A distributor can only calculate your printing if your print data is in the platform. Putting it there is Level 2 of supplier integration. This is what it involves.

  1. You send your print data

Print positions, maximum print sizes, numbers of colours and printing technologies for each product. Plus your set-up charges, quantity breaks and decoration prices. In whatever form you already have them.

  2. We check it with you

We go through the data with your team and agree the exceptions and rules that your price list states in words rather than in numbers.

  3. We configure your printing

We set up each printing technology and your pricing rules in the platform. This normally takes two to three weeks.

  4. Distributors can calculate it

Your printing becomes an option in the shops and quoting tools distributors already use. Their customers configure the print, see the price and order.

Own printings

When the Print Prices Have to Be Your Own

Some suppliers do not print at all, some are not calculable yet, and your own products have no supplier behind them. In those cases your technologies, your prices and your print rules go into TronCalculator instead, and are used in TronShop and TronManager exactly as a supplier's are. There are three ways in, and the third combines with either of the first two.

  1. Option

Your Own Technologies and Pricing Logic

Your print price list digitised in full — your technologies, your components and your calculation rules.

Any product priced by your own rules

    Why it matters

    • Your price list as you charge it

Setup, printing and handling charges are modelled the way they appear on your own quotations.

    • Print options you define

Positions, technologies, maximum print areas and colour limits, set per product to match how you actually produce.

    • Works with no supplier behind it

Textile importers who do not print, suppliers not yet calculable, and your own custom products.

    What's included

    • Analysis of your price list

We go through your technologies and every component of them before anything is built.

    • Digitisation and import

Your technologies and prices become structured data inside TronCalculator.

    • Your calculation logic

The rules that turn quantity, colour count and print area into a price are implemented as you run them.

    Effort & timeline

    Requires
Your own print price list(priced by colour count or print area)

The fullest control, and the one that asks most of you: products with no print data need their options prepared first.Choose it when your price list cannot be bent to anyone else's logic.

  2. Option

Your Prices on the Supplier's Logic

You keep the supplier's technologies and calculation, and put your own purchase prices behind them.

Your buying prices, the supplier's rules

    Why it matters

    • Nothing to prepare

The supplier's print options, positions and colour limits are already in the calculator and stay as they are.

    • One spreadsheet to fill in

We export every technology and component of the suppliers you choose, with the prices you buy at beside them.

    • Your figures do the calculating

From then on every print calculation for those suppliers runs on your prices rather than theirs.

    What's included

    • Export of the supplier's technologies

Every technology and component of the suppliers you select, in one spreadsheet.

    • Import of your prices

Your completed figures go back into TronCalculator and replace the supplier's.

    • Applied everywhere it calculates

TronShop and TronManager both price that supplier's printing from your figures.

    Effort & timeline

    Requires
A supplier already in TronCalculator(their technologies and logic are reused)

The simpler and faster route, and it asks nothing of your product data.Your prices have to follow the supplier's technologies and pricing logic exactly.

  3. Option

    Override the Supplier's Print Options

An add-on that keeps the supplier's print data and changes only the parts that do not match your production.

Supplier data, corrected where it matters

    Why it matters

    • Keep what the supplier gives you

Everything already published stays in place, so you spend your time only on what needs changing.

    • Match your own production rules

Your real maximum areas and colour counts, under the names your team uses for them.

    • Mix your printing with theirs

Replace only the technologies you produce yourself and leave the rest with the supplier.

    What's included

    • Parameter overrides

Maximum print area, maximum number of colours, and the naming of a position or a technology.

    • Technology redirects

Any supplier technology pointed at one of your own, where that one is implemented.

    • Positions switched off

Any supplier position or technology hidden from the calculator entirely.

    Effort & timeline

    Requires
A supplier already in TronCalculator(combines with either option above)

Built as an add-on rather than a route of its own, so the supplier's print data keeps doing the work it already does.Choose it when only a few limits or technologies are wrong for you.

Discuss your print prices

This covers standard product branding — screen printing, pad printing, embroidery and the technologies like them, on promotional products and textiles. Printed paper products and comparable made-to-order logic are priced a different way and are not part of it.

FAQ

What Distributors Ask Before They Start

Does it work with every supplier we buy from?

No — ask us about your own suppliers specifically. Online calculation needs that supplier's print data to be connected, checked and configured, and the product to have supported print positions and technologies. 90+ suppliers are connected and the list grows as more are integrated, but connected is not the same as calculator-ready. Tell us who you buy from and we will tell you where they stand.

Is the calculated price a binding quotation?

Not by itself. Depending on how the shop is configured, a result leads either to an order or to a non-binding enquiry. Taxes, currencies, discounts and regional price lists follow the shop configuration and the supplier data. Artwork and production approval remain separate steps where they are required.

How accurate is the result?

The calculation is as complete as the supplier data behind it. Where a supplier has provided structured print positions, technologies, dimensions, colour rules, quantity breaks and price components, the result follows those rules. Where a product or a supplier has no calculator-ready print data, online calculation is not offered for it at all, rather than being estimated.

Can a customer price more than one print on the same product?

Yes, where the supplier's data supports it. Another design can be added to the same product, each with its own print position and printing technology, and the whole set is calculated together rather than as separate enquiries.

Do we need TronLogo as well?

The documented workflow connects the two: the customer uploads a logo or picks one from the gallery, edits the print, and that configuration is what gets priced. Both run in every TronShop package, so on that route you already have them both.

What does it cost?

In TronShop, TronCalculator is part of every package rather than a separate subscription, so the figure to look at is the package price. The packages, their limits and what each one adds are on the TronShop page. In TronManager it comes with the Standard package and upwards.
